... The furniture and decor inside the palace were very obviously from that period. Outside the grounds were immaculate with amazing views of the Romanian countryside. The next stop was Bran castle, supposedly the castle that influenced Dracula's castle. Once we'd reach Bucharest we grabbed ourselves a quick McDonald's breakfast and boarded our last train to Brasov. From the train window we watched the sun rose over the mountains. The journey was relatively short compared to our other ones and within 3 hours we were in Brasov. We said goodbye to our American friend and headed to the hostel to get some sleep. ... outside in the square and watched the activity. I ate Cabbage Rolls with Meat, Polenta and Sour Cream - the polenta was tasteless but okay once I mixed it with the juice from the cabbage rolls. The little black cat from the day before appeared and I fed her again :). (There were quite a few cats around Brasov.) I had Cheese Dumplings with Cream and Jam for dessert, it was basically warm donuts with jam and cream, lovely :). A dog came running through ...
