W Mojacarze oddaliśmy się leniuchowaniu. Wynajeliśmy apartament w wielkim kombinacie, którego wielkość sporo przewyzszała moje mieszkanie ;), do plaży bliziutko (oczywiście przez jezdnię :)). Przed powrotem do Polski postanowiliśmy poleniuchować i poplazować.

... went straight to the town square for drinks and tapas. The kids found places to run around and we sat in the winter sun on this beautiful sunny day with temp over 20 degrees. We tried some of our Spanish out and lunched on some delicious food. We seem to be eating our way through Southern Spain.
We met up with some people we'd met at other tapas bars and made arrangements for Friday night.

... decided to cancel the Madrid trip for the feast of
the Three Kings and celebrate it in Lubrin.
It is a really big deal here and the Three Kings arrive on donkeys
around midnight (?!) in the town square and children receive their Christmas
presents from them. There is much celebrating before and after, we believe, as
this marked the end of the Christmas period.
So, a long, long siesta for us ...

... at one of the local tapas bars on Friday night for dinner and met some other UK locals who gave us the run down of where to eat what and when.


The house is just great - the picture perfect rural spanish house - set on the hill overlooking a valley, ruins of old houses next door and the goat herd passing by trimming the front yard on the way.

The Lubrin village is only a short drive or a 30 min walk from the house ...

... a bit we had found it. Our own little paridise.....we ran down onto the sand and settled in for a nice day at the beach.

The best thing about the beach was it allowed us to have a bite of a wash in the sea, didn't really work though cause soap doesn't lather in salt water...boooooo!

Next stop, round 2 of the Nationl Park Conquest.
