    ... run down buses with locals carrying chooks and standing room only, but the buses are modern coaches - guess in such a tourist spot they need to process people as efficiently as possible.     ... friendly roof over the excavations and made the whole area very nice to visit and not exposed to the elements. But it makes the area very crowded for tour groups as there are a number of these in the area, which at the moment is probably around an acre. The ruins are quite deep and there are examples of the house having up to 4 or 5 storeys.     Oia was just like Fira only smaller but just as busy. There are lots shops, cafes, houses, hotels and churches all balancing on the peak. The views are incredible.     ... the bathers and down the pool to make the most of the amazing pool. Sunbeds and mattresses all around with a restaurant and bar close by. Heaven. A quick swim and 1 minute walk to the beach in front of the resort for a look. Thought we would stay at the resort restaurant for dinner tonight. Risotto, steak and lamb were ordered with a few vodkas to wash it down. Early night ready for a big few days ahead!
