    ... is considered dormant as it has to go 100 years with no eruption to be classed as inactive, the last eruption was in the 50's. You could see small amounts of smoke come off the sulphur patches, but it really just looked like a pile of rocks.... Down we went and back on the boat! Around the corner and we were in the water, swimming into the hot water at the foot of the volcano. Some people put the sulphur mud on their skin, me personally couldn't even stand ...

    ... amazing pool! That afternoon we went to the beach at Bodrum, had lunch and walked around for a while.     We arose early as we had agreed to meet our tour group at 8am in order to get early tender tickets to go ashore. (I had contacted the organizer of this small group tour prior to our departure.)
