... at 9:45, we knew we had no time to waste so checked our luggage, no line up, (seemed a bit strange) and headed for security check and then on to the gate. When we got to the security check area there must have been at least 300 people ahead of us. We wove through what seemed like an endless maze of lines and finally it was our turn to deposit our belongings in the bins and have a full body scan. ... and just wait for his little boy to get dropped off. I would like to meet this little sweetie that I have only seen in photos. After about 20 minutes the van arrives and Chris retrieves his little man. He is every bit as cute as the pictures I have seen and he is precious when he sees me and instead of saying “hi” he waves and says goodbye to me. We visit for a little while longer and then head over to pick up Uncle Matt.
... nil more than putting the passport in, my particulars [including Aeroplan] coming up, earning me a flimsy boarding pass. Baggage check-in followed. A short walk to customs, sourced out gate D29 and was seated by 0820, a scant half hour after leaving for the airport.
My gate does not open until 0930. Can't find any free wifi [grr #1] and the ugliest hag, likely Miss Vienna 1930, was seated opposite me [grr #2].

... isn't rain gear on the planet that can keep you dry here. It was October and the water was very chilly but there wasn't any way we would pass up the opportunity to feel the falls landing on our heads. What a rush!! Don't come to Niagara without a visit to "Cave Of The Winds". (On a side note: this tour is not available in the winter. Workers actually disassemble the walkways every year around late October for the winter and then build them up again in the early spring. I can't ...
