... you can't take dogs in the tasting room so he built an outdoor 'suite' for dogs to chill out in whilst the owners get their wine on, how cool! We then travelled further down the Silverado Trail to ZD wines, a much smaller scale vineyard with 26 employees. Let me change that ... the day started out with a shower on my terrace overlooking the valley and then a delicious frittata on the lobby terrace. The first 80 km was spent wiggling and weaving my way through the vineyards of Napa Valley and then Sonoma. The road surface condition ...

... Caeser Salad was one of the best I have had in a long time. The steak was good, but not up to Alberta Beef standards :) Our waiter gives us a few options on where we can go for some more wine and we decide to walk down to the end of main street to see what we can find.

I spot a sign in the window of a store that says that wine tasting on Thursdays ends at 6pm. We missed it! .. although there are still people ...
