... nearly flat going from vineyards to vineyards. The sky was menacing yet it only opened in the early evenign as I was closing on Cloverdale. I sheltered from the rain at Starbucks for a while then got the local police to authorize a legal sleeping location for me. They elected the traind epot as the perfect spot for me so I can be sheltered from the rain and wind. I did not need to put up my tent, just laid out my sleeping bag and went straight to sleep.
