There are too many great things about being retired for me to ever try to list them. One big plus is having time to sort and pack for trips. We may leave it until the last minute, but we do not feel rushed. There was plenty of time this morning to wash and iron several shirts I should have laundered days ago. We arrived home at 9:00am. We stopped by Buddy's house to carry out his luggage and then I went straight home to get some well deserved rest. I had so many wonderful experiences on this road trip. I also met some wonderful people that I will never forget as well.

... the 70's perfect for our trek up and down the steep hills. We finished our day with dinner at John's Grill, where a scene from the Maltese Falcon was filmed and where I began my quest for the perfect cioppino. Their version was very good as was Scott's grilled sea bass.

... v 9 h ráno a vyrazil na stopa. Stál jsem nejdříve hned za centrem města na jedné z ulic, co směřovaly na výpadovku na dálnice. Ne zrovna šťastné místo, ale jinde to prostě v tuto chvíli nešlo.
