... disappear. Having spent most of my life living 6m above sea level it makes a change to stay somewhere that is only 1,5m above sea level. And most interesting fact: the Maldives has the worlds lowest natural highest point at 2.4m - that is one pretty exhausting hike! So as the final blog for Ceylon and sunsets comes to an end, here are some of the best photos of Maldives, hopefully enough to stir up some schadenfreude over my pathetic tendency to get sea sick. ... very expensive, so my big purchase was a postcard, and a pair of thongs.

We were pleased to see that our Dhoani arrived at the agreed time ( had visions of missing the boat...due to the captain either falling asleep or fishing). We saw evidence of his catch of the day, a snapper and a bright orange reef fish.
