Day 9: Florence
... rest of the group and all went into Santa Maria Novella, which was unbelievable. A 13-century church built on a 10-century cemetery and site, it housed original paintings on which Michelangelo worked, and stained glass windows, frescos, sculptures and tombs from the 11-16 centuries. Halloween and All Saints Day
On wednesday we had class. Italian class is super boring. I really hate that we never do anything creative which might actually help us learn and get information. We also never laugh at anything - it really sucks the joy out of coming to class when we just get yelled at all the time. We had CJ 201 which was as usual a good class.
