    ... appear throughout Europe is an issue! So off to Florence on the scenic very fast train. We arrive and of course negotiate the taxi's to find our "key location" (some of our directions to get keys are getting quite complicated!). Of course, as is the Chapman curse, when we arrive there is a note to the door - Mr Chapman please ring....... - great! Annoying, but only momentarily as the gentleman appears ...

    ... It has a very eclectic collection, from frescoes and statues, to door knobs and rugs, collected over centuries from all over the world. We were about the only visitors, which made it even better! From there we headed to the Uffizzi which has a huge collection of art started by Francis de Medici - it is a world famous gallery and we have been wanting to visit it for sometime.     ... on being able to truly experience the culture here but tonight we are heading out to the local bars in Prato and, with no uni until Monday, we can finally let our hair down. We're heading out with some Americans we met that are studying at the other uni here. They seem lovely but I'm a bit confused as to what to expect tonight. They told us the venue has lots of table top dancing (think Cheeky Monkeys at Byron Bay) but when I asked whether I should wear a dress and heels ...
