... entrance and bathroom were decent size. Others said their bathrooms were extremely tiny and found it hard to negotiate around the room. Mum could not get her iPad to work this time in any socket. Shower piece would not stay up so had to wet yourself, drop it lather then spray yourself each time you needed. Huge basin with an area each side so you could lean stuff otherwise there wasn't room. ... we enjoyed drinks with an amazing view, this being our last night together, it was bitter sweet. We darted for the bus after up what felt like 500 stairs. This bus was not a problem for me as I slept the whole way back. Even after stating prior we would not be going out this night, we ended up back at the Irish bar for a couple more drinks and singing, but ultimately did call it a somewhat early night. ... the gardens and sea views before heading back down for lunch. Caught the 1pm ferry back and then had some time to ourselves at the hotel. Squared away some of the gifts and sorted bags. David had a sleep and I went for a bit of a walk down to the cliff top and the other hotel on the site. ... so later today we hope to wet our feet in Positano. 3.30pm to Positano after a couple of photo stops on the way. We travelled the Amalfi Coast Road which was a very 'hairy' experience at times, in spite of a magnificent view. Walked down to the "beach"- a black, pebbly stretch, but the water was mild and clean and refreshing. I had been told previously that most artifacts had been removed from the site and placed in a museum in Naples. This proved correct and all that is now within the site is remains of buildings. These remains date back 2000 years to BC and I believe were preserved by the molten lava before ...
