Overall opinion of the trip:
one of the best ever. Definitely one of the most exciting and with the greatest diversity of new things experienced. We did not feel insecure or uncomfortable for one minute the whole trip (except in traffic perhaps) and would do it again in a heartbeat. ... the trip is over - the best, most adventurous and exciting trip we have ever ad. Our motorcycle trips are certainly exciting but operating in/learning about alien cultures meant something new every day and never knowing what to expect the next day.
Vietnam is highly recommended - safe, comfortable and very interesting. I think we just got into a section of China that was not really suited to tourists so I think a return visit is needed to form a true opinion.

Almost packed , house almost ready, Neighbors and friends have invited us out to their homes for our last three dinners, in Buckhorn, how wonderful.
