... looked around and saw there was a small crevasse under the walkway and I think the ball might have been wedged in there somewhere ... Lost forever. Really - did this all just happen. The next 30 minutes were rather somber though we did recall the good times we had with the ball. I looked down the shore in case it popped up elsewhere but to no avail. I had ruined my sons 8th birthday - fantastic - d'oh - we all went over the what if's about the ball and how it got lost. ...

Dubrovnik Day 2

... gained protection from this super power against the Venetians. Our climb took past two restaurants outside the walls on the cliffs over the blue Adriatic. Our guide told us that often people will visit for a drink and a dip in the sea. It looked like a pretty sweet spot to relax and take a dive into the crystal clear waters. I've just had a shower and washed my hair and we're having a little rest as tonight we go on a cruise out ...

... us about our trip and being British! one of them is coming to Uni in Wales so we may see her again.

After the long journey Willow was very tired and Ed had a lot of writing to do so they didn't go out until later. They went to a lovely restaurant in the old town and had fish again! After a walk through the alleys which were just as amazing as Split but different it was back to the villa for bed.
