Il est temps de retourner au bâteau, un repas nous y attend : poisson grillé, tomate et choux blanc. Ce menu accompagne parfaitement cette journée, nous le dégustons puis repartons en direction de Zadar. Le retour à un petit air de croissière : verres de vin blanc et cd de Bob Marley à fond!

Split from May 25-27 Arrive in Split which is an easy 3 hrs from London. Very small airport but nice and easy to get into town of Split..about 30min bus. The big thing here is the Soba which is nothing more than staying in someones house or extra apts. There arent enough hotel rooms to accomidate all the tourists which is why split is ususally a stop over not a main destination. We are staying in an apartment so we need to meet up with Teo at the local bar( he owns ...

this will be a short entry, but Split was a great city! The hostel I stayed was party non-stop! It was run by hostel that really went over and above for everyone. The best part of Split (other then the hostel, which was in the old palace walls) was the soccer match i had a chance to go see. It was between Split and Zagreb, and was a semi-finals match. ... watching the white stone buildings turn pink to white as the full brightness of the day emerged. It is also fun to watch the yacht-sters wake up, prepare their boats and sail out. So we easily passed a week (with two days of rain) hanging out on the beach, drinking local wines and cooking great dinners with the local ingredients. We highly recommend a trip to Croatia.
