FMCA is serving breakfast each morning. We had decided last night that we would get up early and go into breakfast, so I set the alarm for 5:30. The alarm went off and we stayed in bed for a while. About 6 I got up and asked Bob if he wanted to ...

After a filling meal, we returned to the gathering place where we visited for a short time then we returned to the campground to prepare for a good night's sleep. So here I am writing this and Bob is sleeping in his recliner.

... where we stopped at Bucees for a potty break and bite of lunch), Giddings, Brenham and into Montgomery just in time for school to be out. :( It took us about 30 min to travel 1.5 miles. We finally pulled into the KOA about 3:30, got parked and set up. After a brief respite, we loaded ourselves into the car and made a trip to Walmart for a few groceries. Remember we have to run the generator to get the refrigerator cold enough for food. When we left ...

... it up. Our weather station died, so we needed a new one, so another purchase. Think we are set for now.

At dinner we went out to Vernon's Katfish Kitchen with Larry & Doni Gordon. The catfish is very good and I ate too much, so upon return to the campground, we took a short walk.

About 10 coaches came in today and settled in. More will be coming in tomorrow and even a few on Thursday. ...
