RV Resort in Pharr was on the complete other end of the scale to the RV Park we
have been staying in at Pumpkin.
Hillcrest RV Park is situated in the Sam Houston State Forest. It is in a rural setting surrounded by farms.

The weather was nice, with the sun shining through the window, it was comfortable without having to turn on the heat. We did have to run the generator for the refrigerator, but no problem there.

We arrived at Lake Conroe KOA about 1:45, got to our site and got mostly set up. As it turned out, we were not the first of our group to arrive. ...

... time even though he had just returned from an overnight flight himself.

The Happy Stringer B&B provided a sweet breakfast and even a scrumptious bar-be-que lunch before we headed to the airport for our overnight flight to London. The short stay with the Stringers was much fun; the best part just getting to visit and catch up with two of our favorite people. We need to do this more ...
