Cahuita national park is a path along the beach so you can actually walk in flip flops along this path and go swimming whenever you feel like it. Even though the path is pritty big and people walk by frequently you can see a lot of animals. The monkeys are pretty curious and would come pretty close....I guess we are the same attraction for them …

After some consideration, a lot of weatherforecast- and bus schedule checking we decided to finaly not go to Nicaragua but to try to catch some sun at the caribbean coast. I took some photos and footage of that and I apologize for the shaky camera; it was hard keeping it steady while being rag dolled by the waves. ... their friend in whose house they were staying. Although Jill has no interest whatsoever in doing a hiatus abroad while she's in high school, Drew is very open to the idea. Esterillos is a very good option for us. We love it here!

If you're looking for a hotel option on the beach here, check out Hotel Rancho Coral. We've had several of our breakfasts there and we saw their rooms. They all have small kitchenettes and the location is great.
