Its been a little while since the last update and a bit has happend since then.

a couple of days ago, Thomas (one of Ze Germans), Caroline (another German) and myself hired bikes to ride around the island. Caroline and i got a tandem bike which was cool. we rode to the little river mouth on the eastern side of the island, and had a quick swim (see photos attached).

well i only saw a couple of days in cancun which was enough. i heard from 2 swiss birds that this place was pretty good, so jumped on a bus aruond lunch time on monday and headed north. the bus was only meant to take a couple of hours but we had a couple of stops for randoms getting on and off the bus as well as a couple of military chack points. all in all a long journey but wasnt that bad.

The pictures say it all really so I’ll just list my favourite things about Mexico:



  • Delicious cheap street food and fresh avocado/tomato/coriander to make your own Mexican delights in the Hostel kitchen.



  • Smooth cheap tequila that costs less than £4 a bottle and it a far cry from the pain stripper you get in England.


  • Awesome friendly, smiley ...
