After a delicious breakfast at the Austin Guest House in Warwick, the family headed north into Wales and I headed south into the Cotswolds. First stop, as always, was Burford. ... where the Common Folk Club takes place every Thursday. We had a warm welcome, and we sang Watercress and Well, Well, Well. There were lots of performers, with several singer / songwriters. Quite a few folksy pop songs, and not much traditional folk. It didn’t finish until 1115pm. We got a lift back to the boat.

Today was quite warm by UK standards and Derek and I had a pleasant walk along the canal in the morning before joining the Grimer family for a very tasty Sunday roast lunch. Leaving Michele's place after a yummy breakfast, I headed off toward Warwick. It was supposed to be an hours drive but there were so many 30 and 50 mph spots and fixed speed cameras that it took me and hour and a half! I was glad to get there and go inside the gate.
