    ... But couldn't resist big lunch that our friends Begonia  & Percy offered. So after a few Don Simon Sangrias, went home to watch Tour de France .  Tonight prepared mussels & linguini  July 11 Saturday need something cooler to wear, but it's too hot to shop !     We depart Camping Roquetas, promptly.

    Uneventful 200 or so miles to our next destination, Arena Blanca, Benidorm.

    This turns our to be a poor choice, it is right in the middle of Benidorm, or, as I prefer to call it, Blackpool, with sun. Not to my taste.

    The chick follows the mother around, making cheeping noises and sort of fluttering it's wings in a pathetic way, until, the mother relents and feeds it.

We explore to the end of Gandia Promenade, on our bicycles, 3 miles of excellent promenade, backed by, almost empty, clean, sandy, beach. Like South Shields, with sun.
