This weekend adventure was a ceaseless adventure. It started off with an overnight train experience, and let me tell you it was an experience! I think it's the smallest bed I've slept in for a night, but I made it through! We arrived in Catania, a city in Sicily, the following morning. This visit makes up for most of the morning and we spend the rest of the day sightseeing in the rain and up and down Via Etnea, the main shopping street that runs straight from Piazza del Duomo up to the foothills below Etna for what it feels a thousand times.

So we decided to head for the airport early and we sat exhausted waiting to board the plane, dreaming of a sunny Rome.
