      ... We found a nice place for lunch down by the water and enjoyed a nice long lunch of pasta and wine. Tonight we are eating out and can pick from a few local restaurants that our tour director has recommended. Tunnel after tunnel we went through. We were then into more open countryside where the Italians grow their rice. They are harvesting now and the crops look pretty good.       My last full day of the trip :-(
      Such a beautiful part of the world - shame I'm not doing the holiday extension at Lake Como, but it will be nice to see my family when I get back home.

      Today we have an island tour of 3 of the islands on Lake Maggiore - Isola Madre, Isola Bella & Isola dei Pescatori.
