We drove to Tropea this morning and visited the old town and then went on to the beach beyond Sta Domenica. The weather was gorgeous and 28c and swimming was fab in the warm sea!

On on the way back we stopped at Pizzo and viewed the Chiaso Piedigrotto. This is a church that has been carved into the rock. Unfortunately it wasn't open, although apparently it should have been! We could see a bit of the carvings through the gates!

The service is so friendly and the atmosphere is so relaxed and jovial. Angelo Lepore, who is the owner and his staff go above and beyond for their ...

I woke up, early and packed my bags. Davide was fast asleep and I had heaps of time left so I packed his bags too.

We went down for breaky and then headed over to SGDG for our last lunch here. She made my favourite, stuffed eggplant and pasta and then we had to say our goodbye's.

We began our drive. We weren't sure if we were going to stop for the night. It just depended how tired we were. ...

... view from their balcony was beautiful. You could see the ocean!

Afterwards, we went back to the room for Davide to sleep. I wasn't tired (first time ever!) and tried to catch up on my blog.... I was 2 weeks behind! EEP!

When Davide woke up, he went downstairs. On his return he brought me a gelato!!! WOOOOOO!!! Greatest boyfriend everrrrr! :D

Then, it was finally time to go and meet Domenico ...
