    A 4:30 start had us pack our final few things and then follow the coast line to the airport as the sun rose over the ocean.     ... down to our place to be safe and to watch as it burned and spread a bit before the fire department finally came from somewhere (they apparently don't have one here). It was a bit too close for comfort but I guess what happened is that the men chopping around the olive trees had not cleared the brush at the base so it caught and spread.
