One night, the bus driver Carlo was kind enough to show me the prune tree out front. I doubt I'd had a prune before that moment, but what he gave me was a smooth oval-shaped thing. ... for supper (I think that's one down from a trattoria). Extremely small, but very welcoming with home style cooking. We had an excellent meal with giant glasses of local wine.
It was about 10:00pm when we started to look for our car. I don't like to admit things like this, but it took about 45 minutes to do so. Clearly, entering a place in the light is different to leaving it in the dark! Anne fortunately smiled all the way! Lovely day.

... Every seat was full I think. It's a national holiday here so that might have something to do with it. Luckily, it's the high speed train and it only takes just over an hour to get to Rome.
