The wind is making the leaves of the trees rustle and the branches are bouncing up and down and side-to-side. There are only three cars including mine, and three lorries, that I can see in this aire. It’s quiet.

I’ve just had my chewy-bear sweets from the hotel room last week. I’ve had water. I’ve had a rest. I’m ready to go.

... couldn't see it.prob under the altar. Cathedral had organ playing when we visited ..amazing acoustics in these places! Great Gothic arches and stained glass..what is not to like! After busy morning had a scratch mushroom quiche and cake lunch from a patisserie, before drifting back to hotel.Few restaurants open tonight and we booked into one after getting boarding passes sorted out. ... had nothing appearing on the iPad we got another shrug - well it's the thick stone walls! We had been staying in many old hotels with lots of stairs and different landings but never had no Wifi, some reception may have been poor but never none at all. ... but hadn't tried & wrote the address down for us. Had a beer in a bar on the way & the young barman told us where it was. Lucky we were there quite early as by the time we left it was really crowded, who says the French don't like spicy food? It was very good, different than at home, the vegetables were in more of a creamy sauce but the chicken vindaloo & naan were both great.
