Hi Mom, writing to you as I fly over France. Kind of a surreal sentence that I never thought I would type out haha. Our flight left Barcelona about an hour late so depending on how fast we get through customs should be back to Lee Abbey between 12 and 1. Looking forward to sleeping for longer than 6 hours. It was at this point that we realised that although we have seen many, many children of all ages in this park, we have not noticed tears nor tantrums - amazing when you consider the number of children here. We did feel sorry for the real actors who were dressed up as the King and Queen of France wearing their full regalia - it would have been so hot!!!

... Ballet dancers appear and perform ballet 'on top of the water' - you cannot see the hard surface on which they must be standing to perform. It appears as though they are dancing 'on' the water. Towards the end of the performance a large structure (2 storeys high) at the top of the lake opens up to reveal a set which is filled with a pipe organ and a multitude of pipes. The music playing is Bach's Toccata in D Minor with an illuminated character ...

... trucks were having a break. Only one toll ticket for 3.5 hours and as we got near Nantes we came off to go to the lovely town of Saint-Philbert-de-Grand-Lieu we had to pay €51.50 for our days work.
The drive North was ever changing because very soon we had left the vineyards behind and soon encountered huge fields of barley many already cut and straw baled and removed more with combine harvester parked up ready to roll.
