We arrived in Bordeaux about midday. Hotel is slightly out of town across a very very long bridge! Bordeaux is a beautiful elegant city, with massive boulevards and huge squares. We returned to our room to write yesterday's blog, before heading off once again to Puy Du Fou. Jane decided to take a jacket as we weren't sure of the weather forecast for today. There are 4 hotels on site but no room was available despite booking last year so we are staying about 10 minutes away.

It is a very large park telling the history of France from Roman times until current day. There are different areas from different eras with little villages set up and often a special show at different times during the day and evening.

Sunday morning in Blaye and early start at parking ticket expires at 08:08 and I wasn't sure if barrier would lift!
Anyway there were spaces outside and breakfast in the morning sunshine was delightful.
On to Super U supermarket in search of gas a my Spain cylinder had run out and I was on Irish reserve,

The alarm was set for 08:00 knowing we may sleep in following last nights excesses - we had booked and paid for the breakfast at Hotel Jeanne D'Arc so we were never going to miss that!!
