... start up and go for his first walk of the year! Of course there were a ton of people around so we didn't stay for a ride or see the museum (also full of mechanical gadgets and animals! Last time I was here, I couldn't walk yet. Now I can, yey!!





The Christmas market is so cool. Lots of people offering all kinds of stuff. I got to try roasted Chestnuts, sugar pretzels, and all sort of treats.





The lights are even prettier, but I wasn't allow to put them in my mouth. Bummer.

... architecture and space design. The Les Machines is the most amazing thing I have seen so far- a mechanical, life size elephant which moves mechanically as well! I would have loved to have seen the full exhibition, but the frugal life of travellers keeps our hands in our pockets. I would though, of course, recommend it to everyone. Its a "travelling show" and exhibits internationally.

... bakeries are all closed for lunch and restaurants have stopped serving. We had a long hot midday stretch today with nothing but two energy gels to eat - they are very ,uch a last resort. Sickly sweet and with the consistency of slug juice; they are not edible unless you are very hungry. We stopped at three or four villages as we approached Nantes and only in the final one did we find a dingy little bar still sleepily open. A coke and a snickers ...
