    There were two choices today for tours. John visited the Hermitage wine vineyards. A 300 acre vineyard high on the hill with terraced walls of vines. They produce 70% red from the black Syrah grape & 30% white from Marsanne & Rousanne white grapes.     Sun today so after slapping on the sun cream we got yesterday at the nice chemist (who let Peter have his prescription only eye drops without a prescription) decided not to have breakfast as it wasn't really a proper hotel so stop at boulangerie for the formulae - sandwich, gateau & coffee for peter and Quiche, gateau & coffee for me.     We started with a walking tour of Viviers, a village of about 5000 people. Narrow streets, old buildings, the church dating back to the 14(?) century. The walk spiralled up to the cathedral, which is the smallest one in France. Here, we were treated to an organ recital in the cathedral-what beautiful acoustics!
