... we went there next. On the way we passed by a ton of old book merchants and artists. We saw one guy whose stuff we really liked and we're probably going to go back today. He did a series of paintings showing the view 4 ways from the Pont Neuf bridge (one of the oldest bridges in Paris and where we were standing) and they're beautiful. But on to to Louvre! It. Is. Huge! Seriously, it's never ending! We went through the back so we ended at the pyramids. You ...

... of Americans. And you hear English more here than in Munich. It's quite dirty. Lots of garbage on the streets. Walking along the Seine River it smelled like Urine. Chris feels the same. ----------------------- Chris's back has been bothering him the whole trip. Advil has been a ...

I decide we have had enough and after some outside snaps we move back into our town area for a drink, we see a nice ...

... to the very top of the tower. Le gay Paris, la belle Seine, a hunchback... To our extreme disappointment, after we climbed back down all the steps we ended up outside of the church! No entrance for us, that's a completely different line. *****! So after all that, we didn't see the inside of Notre Dame and instead continued en route to the Louvre, and then entered the palace grounds of Louis XV thinking no wonder there was a revolution you greedy Louis and ...

    Rue Grenelle to Saint Germain

A travel blog entry by farkaj on Oct 14, 2013

No museums are open today so I'm going to walk around the city to get the lay of the land. Before heading out - a shower! Not relevant you say, I beg to differ - a previous guest has left some Coing & Lait Vanille Douche Lait Adoucissante (vanilla shower gel) for me to use and I now smell like a delicious French pastry - voila - I'm ready to take on Paris! I wish I could say that my walk through St. Germain and the Latin ...
