    ... the worlds largest traffic roundabout and largest triumphal arch in world. We climbed a few hundred steps to the top and took in magnificent views of Paris and beyond. Arc de Triomphe was commissioned by Napoleon in 1806 and completed in 1836. 12 avenues radiate out from the Triomphe. We boarded the bus again and visited Trocadero and on to Eiffel Tower.     After an easy start we took the bus and metro into Paris. Bloody hell that metro doesn't mess around! After seeing the sights we've just stopped for lunch near the Notre Dame.     ... why they call Paris the city of love, simply for the delicious food. Seriously I've never had such amazing cuisine!     ... watching it tonight. After we rested and relaxed- we enjoyed baguettes for lunch and then met Grandma (Libby)- we are so excited to have her with us for 10 days.
    We then went out for a french dinner consisting of frogs legs and snails- which the kids tried too! Had a quick stop to the Eiffel tower and then came back to our room and continued to enjoy the view. Good night all. Busy day touring tomorrow. ...
