Obernai is an attractive town, it seems that, being close to the border, there is a strong German influence and the market places reminded us of Butzbach but the drinks prices in the cafe we chose were very out of step so they won't be getting our custom again.
It was pasta bake for tea, made by (wait for it) the Homepride Flour Grader with a little help from me. ...

Had my breakfast in my room and finished my diary and blog. Lilli had been across to the station to but tickets for the next stage of our journey to Freiburg. The lift at platform 9 was not working so we had to take the bags to the top of the stairs, then go back down for the bike. The bike carriage was already filling up but we managed to find a space. Our shore excursion on this final day took us to the Black Forest in Germany. It was a 90 minute coach ride from our dock in Breisach to the Forest.
