Goodbye to our Blackforest accommodation, the Silberdistel. We drove from Hinterzarten to Hirschsprung to Freiburg. We parked in the suburbs of Freiburg and took the tram into the Alt Stadt. After leaving Constance we headed toward the Rhine Falls. The drive was all along the boarder of Switzerland and Germany and the Rhine River and it was good to be off the motorways. We used the motorways a bit in Switzerland as it was just easier and you just purchase one sticker for 40 euros that lets you drive on all of them. On arriving at the falls it was raining and cold!
