A steady 130 miler today. We're taking toll roads for ease but a cool 20 Euro and 10 Cents today.. Cheeky! More hay fields and a few more sunflowers. We arrived at Les Bords de l'Eure, ACSI 1731 (free pitch choice, unlimited electricity and water, apparent wifi at reception but we couldn't get it). The book had described it as a "good Overnighter" so we had low expectations but not quite low enough for the toilets! There was a row of cubicles with ...

The French regions are confusing! We're not sure which one we're in ...

Will be able to bore you with multiple pictures of glass windows tonight.

Of interest to the anal among you - we had our first problem of reverse polarity yesterday evening. Don't worry,we had a connection to deal with it. Just like the multiple types of connections we have for water pipes - and I tried virtually all of them to get the aquaroll filled.

Back to today.

Well, we walked a couple of miles to get to the cathedral of Notre ...

Overnight, Marboue

A travel blog entry by thereays on Jun 07, 2013

... I have no internet. I try the French couple parked next to us. They fiddle about with it, but, seem to think it has not worked.

I cycle the 2 miles back down the road to McDonalds, to use their Wifi to do my essential banking transaction.

When I get back, I fiddle around some more with the Orange SIM card, suddenly, it works, problem is, I do not know what I did to make it work!

Turns out, that was a false alarm, still not working!
