Montreuil was a great experience and a fasinating pace to go, so many sites and amazing veiws all aound and if your struggling with a place to go i do extremely recommend Montreuil. The hotel we stayed at makes you write in the centre of town which in my apinun is the exact place to be. Your around lots of people, plenty of restaurants, old fashion builds!

Can you believe it in modern France

Nice local park and hotel
We've had a lovely day, been for a walk in our "local" park, a little place called Versailles....you may have heard of it. They have a little Palais on the site. Thanks to our local hosts, we found the 'back gate' that allows easy parking and allowed us to wander in and around the gardens....at no cost! Very quiet today as the Palais is closed but we have done the Palais twice ...

It was a wonderful arvo - we had cheap refreshments (beer / wine - not that expensive OJ) in Lyon de Foret, then another round in Evreux. Were going to have food but it was only 630pm and they didnt open food til 730pm....another little oddity we often hit here. Thirty people ...
