... at Detroit, picked up our rental car and headed north through Detroit to Wardsville to see the Ramsay’s. The girls were very excited about Jack again and couldn’t wait to get there. There was a lot of traffic going through the tunnel to Canada. It was Thanksgiving weekend in Canada so we headed straight to Rodney to Monique’s aunt Annica's place. They were having a big family Thanksgiving dinner in the log cabin on ...

... and the Horseshoe Falls o n the Canadian side. It is amazing to see the colour of the water it’s like glass, the noise and the force that the water has is fantastic. The American side whilst built up was quite sedate in comparison to their Canadian counterparts.
The Americans had a few attractions with different viewing areas. You could take a lift to the bottom and almost stand under the fall in some parts as well as take the Maid in The Mist boat ride ...

We flew WestJet from London to Vancouver. See attached pictures for a view of the Rockies from the plane.
... we drove through south London. More condominium housing and strip malls - all the big box stores you can think of. With all the development taking place I wondered how long the city could hold on to its title as The Forest City.
We shared a time of great food, and conversation, talking until after 10:00 p.m., when we decided it was best to check into our hotel to get some sleep, since we had such a long journey waiting for us the following day.
... front of the cab (similar to hydro-vac units). · Dandelions - They're everywhere and nobody can spray for them because it's the law. Anybody living within a watershed of the great lakes cannot use pesticides. Entire fields are completely yellow. · Windmills - Surprisingly, there are a lot of them. Near Sand Hills, Ont - PowerGen Corp built 66, each is 255ft high with a 120ft blade and produces 1.5 megawatts. Overall they provide electricity to ...
London, Ontario, Canada jimcabay... were back by 11 and so we weren't at all tired for prom the next day (again, shame on you, AP'ers! Shame!). Prom was a great success, though it still took Nick another week to realize I liked him. Honestly.

... They really didn't search the vehicle at all.
The Falls at Niagara are beautiful but that's about all that's there besides the Power Plant, which was equally cool. The city of Niagara Falls is a city that is in need of revitalization. It's not a garbage pit, just empty. The downtown area is empty, and surrounding homes the same. It was strange. Though outside of the immediate old part of Niagara it's "bustling." I saw some storefronts with signs advertising that if you buy ...
... in design and management. I showed my powerpoint presentation of the Dementai Design in Europe and Older persons Communities in Europe to Ron, the manager of the village and their architect. for the second time in two days I felt they were learning more from me than the other way around. Because of the two presentations time over-ran and I had arranged to be at Humber heights this afternoon. However this has been rescheduled for tomorrow morning so watch this space...
