Today was a short day, only 189 miles, but for some reason it was a very tiring drive. We wanted to depart Deland by 9 am, but we didn't make it. I woke up at 8 and found Bob asleep on the couch. So it was almost 10 by the time we departed Deland. We did not return to I-75 the way we went into Deland, so the ride was better. ... felt a calling to the Motherland knew we needed a trip there. Pulling into their drive the whole 'free range pig' concept became abundantly clear. We soon discovered that the never go over 3 pigs per acre and the pigs live in the woods roaming free. They almost seemed like pets to the owner but we were not so attached that we refused a bacon sandwich to wake us up.
