Hey, we're on the road again. We finally got things in good enough shape to leave on
schedule on 10/14. We had a great visit with our friends, Phil & Doris Crain, in Cabot, AR.

At the top Mel was able to get some really neat pictures of St. Louis with the arch's shadow over it. After about 10 min Mel was ready to go down, because at the top of the 630 foot high arch on a windy day it kind of feels like be on a small boat on a choppy lake. We were in St. Louis again this weekend and somehow managed to book the Crowne Plaza for $50! Not only that but they gave us a room that the perfect view of the arch! We could see the whole thing and the park. It was beautiful!!! Our first night we just relaxed. On Saturday we slept in and found a diner near the zoo. After exhibits at the Abbey in Belleville Il.; Flavors Wine and Coffee Bar in Breese, Il.; Jacoby Art Gallery, Alton, Il.; the "Artz Tour de France" exhibit will have it's final showing at the Art on the Square gallery in Belleville, Illinois from now until the end of the year.
