Visiting St. Louis
Not part of the original plan to be going through St. Louis now
We did a Priceline deal at the very last minute coming into St. Louis (I didn't think it would work, but Tony insisted), and I was impressed with how great a place it got us, we were able to walk RIGHT across the street to the Arch! (And of course, the hotel wasn't too shabby either - perhaps the best place we'll stay on ...
WE GONE
Hey, we're on the road again. We finally got things in good enough shape to leave on
schedule on 10/14. We had a great visit with our friends, Phil & Doris Crain, in Cabot, AR.
We played Sticks Rummy every evening.s

Mini vacation!
We were in St. Louis again this weekend and somehow managed to book the Crowne Plaza for $50! Not only that but they gave us a room that the perfect view of the arch! We could see the whole thing and the park. It was beautiful!!! Our first night we just relaxed. On Saturday we slept in and found a diner near the zoo. I had a vegetable omelette and Jon had eggs with sausage gravy. The cofee was pretty good. For a diner in STL it wasnt bad..but we all know NJ has ...
