      ... and Mrs. B. at the Colonial Cafe for our Ice Cream Theme: Scoops with the Masters. The ice cream was amazing and the conversation was just as stimulating. It was fun to talk Kyukido history, philosophy, and training with these two great minds. We may have reached our hotel later than planned that night but stops like these are what vacation is all about -- and it assured a good night's sleep for the little ...

      As of last week I have been accepted to teach abroad in China for an entire year starting this February 2015 with CIEE (Council on International Education and Exchange)! I cannot wait to see what I can offer the other side of the world and vise versa :) I won't be updating my blog much before I leave, but will try to keep up to date once I start my adventure on the other side of the world. I will ideally being doing at least 2 entires a week...fingers crossed.

      ... Park. This is one of the sites Ted wanted to visit and it also happened to be one of the busiest places in the city. The weather....perfect! We bought a map of the city and of course found better free ones later. Curses! We trekked around the city and admired the wonderful omnipresent architecture. We got hassled by street people, listened to young men drumming on 5 gallon buckets with incredible precision, found a free jazz festival and just immersed ourselves ...

      ... some weight....actually gained.

      Ok, now for the all the help regarding the upcoming event " the wedding". Personal shower for Kaitlin, rehearsal dinner, hair and nails, decorating the reception hall just to add to the activities.

      ... and now we just ask for a few weeks of solitude to help Josie adjust when we return. Then everyone should consider themselves on the babysitting list! ;)

      But thanks to technology today, that doesn't mean you can't see her or see us. We look forward to Skyping/Facetiming and posting photos and videos along the way.
