Edison & Ford liked to go off on camping trips so Henry Ford designed a "Chuck Wagon". He added an aluminum covered pine box with drawers & a pull out table. Ford converted 2 gas tanks into fresh water storage tanks complete with a tap on the side of the box. ...

... well against the Rays but it was a fun day nonetheless being around other sox fans. Marty struck up a conversation with a guy from Plymouth that paid 60.00 for the same seats as us! Scalpers! Our time at Daytona Beach was mostly r & r, and it was nice! The hotel we were in, Holiday Inn Resort, is right on the beach, and a magnificent beach it is!In fact there are signs saying it's "The world's best beach", maybe they haven't been to NZ, but then again maybe I'm a tiny bit biased!
It is a beaut beach though, sandy with about 10 small shells per mile, but many beach loungers and umbrellas (for hire at $30/day or $10/hr).

... with umbrellas, slickers, and beverages in hand, were all facing in one direction ...they must know SOMETHING, we reasoned...and sought a spot accordingly. Brian found exactly the right place, a little ways into the glen itself and there we spread our blankets on a large rock and settled in to see what we would see.
