After driving up from Lake City, we spent a great weekend with Jamie and Kristen. They made a turkey dinner for us with all the trimmings and we relaxed at their house on Saturday. On Sunday we drove out to the Chickamauga Battlefield National Park, watched a video and toured the park. Fun stop at the Sears Shoe Store (holy lots of shoes) then made our way home for turkey leftovers and margaritas. Early departure tomorrow am. We'll have to save "Captain Ron" for next ...

... a quick lunch, I got on the Waterfalls Trail, which takes you deep down into the canyon to a couple of waterfalls. Much of the trail uses a stairway which had over 1,200 steps. Obviously, the trip down was easy, the return trip, not so much. It really got the blood pumping!
