Quebec, like Montreal is well known for it's cuisine and didn’t disappoint us. Not only were we able to eat well here we managed to eat relatively cheaply.

Our first day took us to the market where portions of salad and fries weren’t the cheapest but huge, fresh and came with a port view.

... real barbers that we were given directions for was literally across the road - so Sam went for hair cut number two! One day we got the bus to these waterfalls called 'Chute Montmorency' that was pretty cool, apart from having to walk across a pretty scary suspension bridge (sam was really scared) We decided we only needed a few days in Quebec so booked the train outta here for 30th August to take us to Halifax, Nova Scotia! ... then carried on East into the province of Quebec and through Montreal where the traffic was quite good considering all the construction taking place. The ride under the St Lawrence River in the noisy tunnel is always an adventure. The highway we followed is in the South side of the St Lawrence River, number 20, which is a safe fast way to make time. We stopped for lunch in Drummondville at Scores, a great chicken restaurant.

... of crutches of those healed on pilgrimage to St Anne's I struggle to belief in this type of miracle but it is moving to see. The reliquary was in the shape of an arm to hold the arm of St Anne while a beautiful piece of art it is also a litle strange to view on display but it definitely spoke to the faith of the many pilgrims who visit this church.
