The surf was reported to be the biggest it's been all summer, so it was inevitable that we were heading back to catch any last surfs. Thankfully the website report was correct and Dean surfed at least 3 times a day. He was one very happy man! One of the final days there was the biggest and most clean looking surf we have seen in France, not hard to bet considering it was the worst summer for surf. So we ended up in Bayonne before the start of the Camino and it was absolutely beautiful. Of course we didn't know that right away because we arrived at 4:00 in the morning. We ended up sleeping on a bus bench until about 6:00 when the buses started running the next day. When they did another couple our age got on and we sparked up a conversation after seeing their tent.
