The usual pretty bad breakfast but as the scrambled eggs looked a bit weird Peter asked the nice waitress if they were real eggs, she said sure, then he said did you crack them so then she said, no they come in liquid form! Wish he had told me after I'd eaten, so I binned them and made a waffle instead thank goodness I'd eaten some bran flakes first. ... population listed at 750 in the 2000 census (according to Wikipedia). The main shopping area has many old buildings with new businesses. It took us about an hour to walk slowly and look in many of the stores. That time included a short stop at the bakery for a snack. While we were walking around, a woman was being walked by her two great danes. They were beautiful dogs. One was the mother of the other. Her head came up to my elbows. ...

Before we went to bed, I raised the foot of the recliner and put a clean, dry towel down, then his morning, the towel was wet! Not sure if it's running down the side, hitting the rail and coming in or what, but we'll do it again ...

... Kid was not killed here but lived in Hico for many years until his death. They have a museum there also. So guess that will have to be one of our trips. The picture of the list of murdered people shows how violent this town was during the time. While we were walking around, ADT called and left a message that the police were on their way to check out the dining room alarm. Bob finally got in touch with ADT and they told him they had tried to call all the alternate numbers, but ...
