It was handy, so Bob Evans again, this time for breakfast...why don't Canadian breakfast joints serve biscuits and sausage gravy? Yum! I knew they existed but have never been to a U.S. Tim Hortons, branding on the cups, signage, etc is different and the donuts have different names, but they didn't mess with the taste of the coffee. :) Just outside of Gaylord we crossed over the 45th parallel, Todd thinks this is really ...

The final bits and bobs needed to be tidied up from the bombsite remaining from Saturdays party. So after some expert pancake making by the Smith brothers, we toddled to the cottage for the final tidy up. First mission was to return all if the empty bottles to the beer store as you get money back for them out here!!! Abt $35 back in the end.... Seeing as its 10c for a beer bottle and 20c for a wine ...

Surprisingly no one felt over rough this morning and we were down at the cottages by 11am! There was no sign of the wedding couple so we sat around doing puzzles and playing bananagrams for the majority of the morning and afternoon as a matter of fact. Aunt Joanie bought lunch with her so we were fed and definitely watered well with all the left over beer and wine from the wedding! We energetically went for a swim in the lake to cool down and then ...

As usual there was lots to do the day before a wedding. But our main task of the morning was sorting out all of the flowers for the table centre pieces. So after a streaky bacon and scrambled egg for breakfast, cooked by the smith brothers, alexis picked me up to go the 'herb garden' florist. The lady was very welcoming as we moved the 20 vases that needed filling on a wonky wire table (terrifying in itself as most did not stand well on it! After a ...

... great place for RV travellers, it has separate RV fueling lines with easy access, and dump stations at each and every fueling station, it served great meals in its facility, The Cookery, and best of all the fuel and even the gas prices were less than everyone else, especially Pilot whom you avoided like the plague, dirty, bad surfaced lots, not a notable facility to eat at and most of all high prices. Well so goes our beloved Flying J. they suffer now from all of those ills ...
