... probably about 2-3 miles. Nice walk, and nice area. Lots of potential and as Dick read in TripAdvisor, not as much action on River Walk. There are a few restaurants and bars, but mostly the backside of buildings. We stopped a few people to get directions and advice. One gentleman told us about the Third Ward where there were some restaurants and bars! The Third Ward is about a block off the River Walk.

Summary

Drove 401 miles in 6.5 hours on day 1. Explored the city on day 2.

... one time ..it hit the seat in front of me and hit my hand and flew at the back....Al and Rich did not even catch the ball for me! All I got out of it was a sore and bruised hand! Unfortunately ...the Brewers lost by 2. Oh well the St Louis Cardinals were better on the night. They play 3 games over three nights....I suppose it saves the travelling during the season. We got home about 11.30pm...had a few drinks..then off to ...

... on us both. By the time we reached the brewery my top looked like i had just received a runners up prize in a wet t-shirt competition The Brewery and tour was both fun and informative, at $7 for a tour, 5 free samples, souvenir pint glass and a voucher for a pint at a local pub it's hard to go wrong. Tour guide and brew master Mike was a nice chap and we chatted with him after the tour about how great British beer is.

Next up we needed to get some lunch and spend that ...
