    ... roads around the crash site.

    Gail knew of a camping spot in El Paso, nooo Nellie not Texas, it is in Illinois. It was behind the local Super 8 Motel. The spot had 30 amp electric only so we were able to watch a little TV and had lights to see by. Total cost for the night was $15.00. We had driven 9 hours and only went 205 miles.

    I sure hope accidents and cold are not a harbinger of things to come. All in all it was a good day. ...

    ... lied ... It was really cold! The Museum of Art was a fairly quick visit ...Georgia O'Keefe, Barbara Hepworth, Picasso, Joan Miro and Andy Warhol were among the permanent exhibits. There was a Kandinsky exhibition on loan from the Pompidou Centre. We moved onto the Science and Technology Centre and spent a white pushing buttons, pulling knobs and tapping interactive screens. The aquarium part of the centre had fish from the lakes as well as the Atlantic Ocean. All quite interesting.

    We continue east to the city of Milwaukee and a visit to the Milwaukee Art Museum (MAM) with a collection of over 30,000 works of art serving over 350,000 visitors a year. The MAM recently gained international recognition with the construction of the white concrete Quadracci Pavilion, designed by Santiago Calatrava (his first completed project in the United States), which opened on May 4, 2001. ...
