... takes place at this time of year, so should be in progress if they're starting a new season.

It was quite a walk to my gate for the Kelowna flight. It was lunch time so I was getting hungry again and after looking at the available choices I decided on a Turkey sandwich on whole wheat from Starbucks as the only other option was food from Timmy’s which I don't really like and that also had a sizeable queue which I wasn't in the mood ...

... so packed we had no place to pull over so drove on to the first "chain up" pull out. Dan took it from there to the Swan Lake RV Resort. Swan Lake is lovely. Our site here is large (50X50), paved, and hedged which makes it, open level and clean. The lake is on the other side of a grassy area but has a thick buffer of marsh and rushes, which means there is no real access to the water. Everyone we have talked to is very friendly and enjoys sharing RV’ing tales.

DEPARTURE DAY! This day has seemed so elusive and far in the future but now it's actually here and reality is starting to set in. I’ve been nervous and “jittery” for the last few days, which totally defies all logic as I’ve been through this process so many times.

To begin with, I should add the same disclaimer as I have in previous Blogs. My always increasing group ...

... lives in an awesome house shaee of super creative people who decorate the building top to bottom. He is an arborist so spends his days in the trees and loves his job; so great to be around someone who enjoys their days! He's so chill it was great to spend time with him and we did some great hikes up the surrounding hills. For the final leg of our trip to Nelson we got on the roadside with a sign to thumb it out of ...

... in particular, or achieve anything but relaxing the mind and body. Simple outdoor living, warm water swims anytime of the day and campfires at night to cook dinner (and satisfy Matt's pyro tendencies). Pure bliss. We spent the night beside the campfire lying on our backs watching as all of the stars became more visible. I think between us we spotted 6 shooting stars. We discussed the endlessness of that black stuff up there, space junk and how ...
