... meal I've had in France! this time, darkness had crept up on us and we had to get home..... But, with no lights on the bikes it was a bit tricky.... ... Friday) we stayed in the same place again before continuing south. The drive down was really impressive through another pass and a seriously wiggly road. In the space of half an hour the scenery completely changed to dusty brush as we got through the mountains. ... we rocketed across France on the TGV, the landscape was hidden at times under a veil of rain, must check the weather forecast for Cannes again. The cabin was silent and very calm. Maybe this public transport thing is not so bad after all. Due in Cannes at three minutes to eight. Everyone agreed it is better than driving and the Eurostar seats are more comfortable but you know, there really is not much in it between the trains.
