... a Huskey were also arriving, but being slow, I fit in after they all landed. The controller was giving wind updates as each plane was landing as the wind was swinging and gusting a lot. As I came in the wind subsided, thank goodness and was a quartering tailwind. I was happy to be on he ground.

Attached are pics from our hike in Townsend and the happy Rans after cleaning out the lead deposits.

... campsites setup just off the road along the entire way. Some would have a couple of campsites setup, others would be empty. They looked to be setup by the state, just space for 6 - 12 campsites and a restroom.
Where the road moved away from the rivers edge, you could see some small farms and ranches setup between the road and the river. The last 60 miles of US-93S were particularly scenic, as the river ...

After an evening of lighting and thunder we started out Monday with a call from the mechanic to fix the broken leaf spring on the trailer. $220 dollars later the job was finished. I'm so glad that it didn't happen out in the desert on the way to Twin Falls.

With the trailer fix so early in the morning we decided to go site seeing. First we went to the Visitors Center at Perrine Bridge over the Snake river. The walk ...

... was about 10 minutes of winding, curving uphill (with barriers) and 10 more of the same going down. The engine was 'cool' with it, as it should be, but I'm sure my BP spiked considerably.

Next stop was Ketchum which serves Sun Valley. Some very expensive homes ...

... look at. After 7 hours or so we thanked Ranger Rick and started out the door. Just as we were about to leave he yelled to us "Don’t forget to check out the unlimited speed exotic car road rally". I stopped so fast in my tracks that Kristi thought I ran into a glass wall. I did a quick 180 and skipped right back to Ranger Rick. “What did you just say” I demanded.
