... into the "hen spa" with the older chickens so they can merge together as soon they will be moved onto another spot on the farm and they need to have one flock instead of two! The poor babies were very freaked out and confused as to why they were getting moved to another house... We did it when they had all gone to bed so they were all perched on their racks and roosting. And they were so damn cute all huddled together!! ...

... deliveries and that took a good 45 minutes... Once we sent Deb off on her way I went and did the chicken chores! Water filling, giving them some scraps, and then collecting the eggs! Because I didn't collect any yesterday, in total there were 30 eggs! Yeah! Go girls!! Lay them eggs!! :) I never get bored of watching them run up to me when I have food to give them. The way the run is just so hilarious. It took me a good hour and a bit to finish up all my chicken and ...

... been planning but we stupidly decided to do it in the pouring rain... That was a bad move! Even wearing rain jackets my jeans got soaked! We couldn't end up finding one of the hose pipes anyway so we decided to just go inside and wait till Deb and Jim got home. We spent a couple of hours just relaxing (again, the weather just was not co-operating!) then Jim and Deb arrived home at about 1pm so we made lunch ...

Today felt like winter! I wore 4 layers and a scarf. We woke up about 6.30am in preparation for the farmers markets which started at 8am. The markets are meant to go from 8am-1pm but we were only there for about 1.5 hours before we decided to pack up and leave. It was horrible weather. Rain and wind!! A shame I didn't get to experience the Mora market. I did however get to meet some of the other vendors and one of the guys who was next to us made things out ...
