... into the "hen spa" with the older chickens so they can merge together as soon they will be moved onto another spot on the farm and they need to have one flock instead of two! The poor babies were very freaked out and confused as to why they were getting moved to another house... We did it when they had all gone to bed so they were all perched on their racks and roosting. ... I had sweat dripping all down my legs... Especially the back of my legs! Yuck! However the weeding that I've done looks really good. The potatoes are slowly coming out of their "jungle coma"! When Deb got home I helped her with the groceries and then got the quad bike and hauled 2 bags of chicken feed over to the one chicken coop... And each bag weighs 50 pounds! ... started unloading the bales of straw and putting it into water tanks. The purpose of this is to soak the straw for about 6 days so it'll be nice and mushed down! We then collected the weeds again through the asparagus and rhubarb and then Jim starting hauling the wood chips to us and we mulched the entire garden. Well, half of today was awful weather and the other half was pleasant weather!! Everyone slept in this morning... It was too rainy and gloomy to do anything! Deb made pancakes again- yeah!!
