    ... I am, and how grateful I am for this experience. Lucky because I got to spend my summer in one of the greatest cities in one of the greatest countries in the world, with some of the greatest people I've ever met. I came in to this not knowing what to expect, or even what I was doing, but I never could have anticipated so many great friends and memories. I know these people and this time have been so good for me, in so many ways. I really couldn't ask for a better summer.

    ... couchsurfing who also gave us a tour of the city! They told us how many movies have been filmed in the medina of Essaouira, which was quite cool to learn about. Also, one of our couchsurfing hosts was a great chef, and I absolutely loved eating his home cooking! While the weather the best, I did really enjoy my time in Essaouira and I feel that I accomplished a lot for my college applications!
