On to the Royal Shop, spent some money, then to the exit via a lovely walked around green space. Our next stop was Harrods so we caught a back cab. Harrods was an eye opener, busy vast expensive, unique. Had a refreshment at one of their cafes, I had a large yummy ice cream cone. Had ...

Having a plan is great, isn't it? I wish we had one that we could stick to. To be honest, our learning outcome (teaching mode) is to travel as far south as possible via the national roads (not the autoroutes which cost many dollar) with the ultimate target being the Lake Geneva region, with Montreux and Rochers-de-Naye the target for our mountain hike & potential train ride.

... begun again and we had a brief walk and a coffee before hitting the road again - a pity, because on a sunny day the walks along the Avon River would have been lovely!
