This was Valentine's Day and all the hotels and hostels were fully booked for the night so we ended up staying slightly out of town in a place called Wakefield. We spent the day exploring the city, browsing Europe's largest indoor market and ...
... of an abbey. There wasn't much left of it, but it was huge and still had much of its design carved into it. I couldn't believe that it was just standing there in this park! It was so random!
After taking pictures of the ruins and walking through the park, we finally found our way to the station and headed back to the hotel.
Of course my dad and I went swimming again.
So that was our Leeds and York trip. It was short and sweet, but a lot of fun!
