A 5.30am run in Battersea Park turned out to be magical. London on a sunny early morning is beautiful, and I had the whole park to myself, except for the odd heron and lots of pigeons. The park is like a mature country estate, with lots of trees and gardens, and a lovely promenade along the Thames next to Chelsea Bridge. If I ever live here again I think Battersea would be a good place to be. We spent the morning at the museums: first the Science Museum, where we looked ...
... Gorgos' epic speech to the councilmen. I say epic but have never seen 300 so can only assume such epicness. Needless to say it was extremely challenging but absolutely loved it. I think I didn't pay any attention to it because the music is usually way too loud so I ...

Bruno was at the start of a month long tour of Morocco in his huge, shiny and white 4x4. Roger was at the start of a six month journey that would take him to Cape Town on a route and a timeframe that was uncannily similar to my own; little surprise then that we would spend much of the next six months together. But for the next four days, Bruno drove the three ...
