... were late so we arrived late and missed the demonstration. I wasn’t bummed at
all as I don’t care much for leather anyways. What they did sell though was a
silver ring which back in the day apparently some king made his wife wear it
when he went away, if she took it off it came apart and couldn’t be put back
together again and then she couldn’t wear it again. I really loved the ring and
all the girls were buying one but ...

The art work (stautes and sculptures) in Rome is all propaganda and self proclamation (Augustine) because in death you became a god.

Any case had a good wander around then sat and watched the world go by whilst having our lunch time beers.

Came back to the hotel and I'm writing this travel blog up whilst Neil has an afternoon snooze.

Still both of us full of colds. Miserable.

DAY #2: Today I had a second field lab for Invasive Species and we went to a wildlife preserve to go hiking and see whatever wildlife we could see.
