... forest and the woods are almost completely silent in comparison to the inevitable sounds of reality outside those old gates. It was really nice to walk up through the trails above the monastery, then down below where there are caves that the monks used for prayer in solidarity. (don’t quote me on anything). ... agree kept very clean in all the cities we visited - except for dog poo!
4. Italians recycle very well. In the apartments and the streets there are specific bins for paper, plastics, and general waste.
5. Lots of foreigners get married in Italy. In every city we visited we saw many weddings on all days of the week.
