We actually had a leisurely morning as we didn't have to meet until 9.30, so we were able to enjoy the fantastic breakfast laid on for us - fruit (especially the papaya and sweetest bananas I have ever eaten!), coffee (the strongest I have ever drunk. - well, what do you expect for Brazilian coffee!) as well as the usual 'bake ...

Paraty is a lovely little colonial city with rocks for roads and white buildings. I walked around the streets and poked my head in the various stores. I had the opportunity to see some great and not ...

... people live in them! The other "feature" of the boat was the singer that accompanied us. He sang some Spanish guitar ballads all the way with the speakers cranked up high. He got louder when we passed other boats in what seemed a competition to see who could be heard! Didn't help the conversation on the boat. When we did have time to talk Jason and Jen told us some good veggie places in California which we will visit ...
