The wind had picked up by this point which made for a few more waves, but luckily it was mostly at our back. Overall we paddled about 12.5km. Unfortunately I didn't take my phone so we don't have any photos to share at this point. Once we had rinsed off, we stopped at a small beach bar for lunch (fish, rice, beans, salad and jicama) ...

... cooked a banging spag bol with Josh and joined a group of english and aussie guys we had met the night before for some drinking games. We weren't really planning on going out but its so hard to get an early night around here! We had a really cool group of people in our Jeep from all over the place including from Trinidad and Tobago, Alaska, Argentina and Paraguay.

... for our bus to Trindade. It was really really hot and we had to wait for an hour in the sun. When we get to Trindade it took a little while to find where we were staying as it was up a small path that was not overly obvious. When we got there though it was amazing and we had a small private room overlooking the trees and stream. We went for a walk along the beach, but Kirsty wasn't feeling very well so we went back and she went for a lie down. It seemed she'd caught a cold off another ...
