... marmosets came down to the rock where they crew had just left some water melon. They were so tiny and they just munched away without a care! Suddenly there was a flash of orange and a Golden Lion tamarin appeared out of the forest! It was one of the most beautiful creatures I have seen - bright orange shimmering coat, which an extremely cute little face! But there was not only one, there was a pair - what a treat!! Started sunny and warm but then ran into low cloud as we descended the coastal range and through the Mata Atlantica (coastal rainforest) to the resort of Caraguatatuba where we had a salad lunch besides the beach. This was 2.5 hours south of Paraty.
First time on journey that the weather had been unkind because we needed the sun to enjoy the coastal ...

    Sailing for the weekend...

... unmarked rock. But we were okay. Eventually we anchored in between two islands. The two polish girls and myself decided to swim to the closest island which ended up being a 20minute strong swim against the wind... We made it and after exploring around we decided to swim back. The way back was a breeze thankfully. Our host prepared fejuada for lunch it consisted ...
